How it works
Download the statement at Fio
In Fio internet banking choose the statement and the GPC (ABO) format.
Pick the file
Drop it above or choose it. You see a preview of the movements at once.
Download the CSV
One row per movement: account, date, amount, counter account, bank code, counterparty, symbols and document number.
Or straight into Zettl
In Zettl you upload the GPC statement directly and the payments get matched with receipts and invoices.
Good to know
- The file is not sent to any server and nothing is stored; once you close the page, nothing of it is left.
- The Czech CSV uses semicolons and a decimal comma, so Czech Excel opens it straight into columns. The other button downloads the version with commas and a decimal point.
- The converter reads records 074 and 075 encoded windows-1250; one file may hold several statements. It skips the extra message records (078, 079).
- GPC carries no currency, so the CSV has no currency column.
- When the statement's balances don't agree with its turnovers, the converter warns you but still writes the movements to the CSV.
Frequently asked questions
Short answers on this topic.
Is my statement sent anywhere?
No. The page reads and converts the file right in your browser and creates the CSV there too. Nothing goes to Zettl's server or anywhere else, and nothing is stored.
Does it cost anything, or do I need an account?
No. The converter is free and needs no sign-up.
Why does the CSV open in one column in Excel?
Excel reads CSV with the separator your system is set to. The Czech version uses semicolons, the English one commas; download the one that matches your Excel.
What is the GPC (ABO) format?
A fixed-width text format for electronic statements: a statement header with the balances, then one line per movement. Fio offers it for download in internet banking.
