What Zettl does, step by step: from downloading your Fio banka payments to the bundle of documents for your accountant.
Matching payments with documents
Every morning Zettl downloads the payments from your Fio banka account and looks for each one's receipt or invoice by amount, date and vendor. Matched payments show green; the ones without a document stay visibly open.
Fio API for bookkeeping
Create an account-monitoring API token in Fio internet banking and paste it into Zettl. From then on Zettl downloads new movements every morning and matches them with documents. It cannot send payments.
GPC/ABO statement import
GPC (ABO) is the electronic statement format you download in Fio internet banking. In Zettl you upload it for periods the Fio API won't release without authorization: the payments are added without duplicates and Zettl matches them with documents.
GPC to CSV converter (free)
Load a GPC statement from Fio banka and download it as a CSV you can open in Excel. Free, no sign-up. The file is never sent anywhere: the conversion runs only in your browser.
Receipts and invoices by e-mail
Every company in Zettl has its own @zettl.cz e-mail address. Forward the invoices you receive by e-mail to it; AI reads the vendor, date and amount from the attachment, and Zettl matches the document with its payment.
Monthly files for your accountant
Zettl shows which Fio payments still lack a document. Once the month is complete, download all its receipts as one PDF with a summary, plus the Fio statement. Or simply add your accountant to the company.
One payment, several invoices
A marketplace order (Amazon, say) often comes as several invoices from different sellers, while one payment leaves your account. Zettl recognises such invoices and matches them with the payment as a group when their sum agrees exactly.
ISDOC invoice export
ISDOC is the Czech e-invoice standard most accounting software can read. Export invoices issued in Zettl to it in one click: one as an .isdoc file, several at once as a ZIP.
Foreign-currency invoice and ČNB rate
Issue an invoice in Zettl in CZK, EUR, USD or GBP. When you export it to ISDOC, Zettl loads the ČNB daily rate for the taxable supply date and gives the amounts in the foreign currency and in CZK.
AI assistant via MCP
Zettl is a remote MCP server at https://zettlapp.com/mcp. Add it to an MCP-capable AI assistant such as Claude and ask in your own words: which payments lack a document, what you spent, which invoices are unpaid.
Zettl or a spreadsheet?
With a handful of payments a month a spreadsheet will do. The more payments and documents, the more time copying statements and chasing receipts takes. Zettl does that work for you, but only for a Fio banka account and without doing the bookkeeping.
