Export issued invoices to ISDOC

ISDOC is the Czech e-invoice standard most accounting software can read. Export invoices issued in Zettl to it in one click: one as an .isdoc file, several at once as a ZIP.

How it works

  1. Issue the invoice

Issue the invoice in Zettl with a template, a QR payment code and the customer looked up in ARES.

  2. Pick the invoices

In the export on the Invoices page, filter invoices by status and issue date.

  3. Download ISDOC

One invoice downloads as .isdoc, several as a ZIP with one file per invoice.

  4. Send it to your accountant

Your accountant loads the files into their software without retyping.

Good to know

  • The export follows ISDOC version 6.0.2.
  • Issued invoices and proforma invoices are exported. Zettl cannot export credit notes to ISDOC yet.
  • An invoice without a customer or without items is not exported to ISDOC; Zettl tells you which one.
  • Importing invoices from ISDOC into Zettl is not available yet.
  • Invoicing is part of the Firma plan (350 Kč a month).

Frequently asked questions

Short answers on this topic.

What is ISDOC?

The Czech e-invoice format in XML. Accounting software reads the customer, items, VAT and amounts from it, so nobody retypes the invoice.

How does the ISDOC export handle foreign-currency invoices?

It gives the amounts in the foreign currency and in CZK, with the ČNB rate for the taxable supply date, or the issue date when the invoice has none. If the rate cannot be loaded, Zettl does not export that invoice and tells you so.

Can I export received invoices to ISDOC too?

No, the ISDOC export is for invoices issued in Zettl. Download received documents for a month as one PDF.
